Sunroom Remodel: Before & During

Here’s the sunroom when we bought the house, complete with all 5 sets of sliding glass doors.  The exposed brick everywhere just seemed to weigh the room down.  Here’s 2 exterior sets of those sliding glass doors…P1000189
… 2 more exterior sets…P1000190
… and here’s the 1 interior set… through which you can see the guest bedroom where the old entrance used to be…  P1000191
Here’s the interior wall complete with 4 gigantic steps…P1000186
some hideous wall paneling and a faux fireplace.P1000184
Here’s the demolition… P1010659 P1010660 P1010661
An enormous amount of construction…P1010705 P1010704P1010706 P1010752 P1020488 P1020460 P1020459P1020461
And here’s how the room looks today (pardon my messie-ness… this room is the dumping ground for tools and project materials at the moment)… P1040245P1040243 P1040246P1040244P1040241
Whew.  It’s exhausting just looking back at all this work… and even more so thinking ahead to all that’s left. I’m seriously considering painting the concrete floors a dark chocolate brown color.  Here’s a sample… P1040249
Love it!  I CANNOT WAIT to finish this space.  Once we do… I’ll be “living” in this room all year long!

P.S. Your "dumping ground" looks like every room of my house!!
