Here’s how our master bath looked when we bought our house…
Here’s the demolition and construction…
And here’s how the room looks today…
So much work left to do (tile, trim, paint, decorate), but we’ve come such a long way!
Holy.... moley. This is seriously amazing. That was quite a bathroom you began with. I wouldn't even believe it's the same space. Wonderful, amazing job.
Thanks everybody! And Jen... we did the fun part... the dirty sledge-hammer demolition... but we hired a carpenter, a cabinet maker, a plumber, and an electrician since the house was in such bad shape (nothing was minor). Now that the contractors are done, it's up to us to paint the walls and install all the hardwoods/tile. So, we still have a LOT of work to do.
I'm a certified Messie... in every sense of the word, but I'm working on becoming a Former Messie. I'm trying to be the better version of me (you know, the House-cleaning-Home-organizing-Martha-Stewart-home-decorating-Curtain-sewing-Toddler-wising-Play-date-scheduling-Made-from-scratch-meal-making-Honey-lovin-Superhero-work-from-home-mama... that me), one day at a time.
Feel free to email me with questions, private comments, or spelling errors. I count it a daily accomplishment to resist the temptation to point out your grammatical errors, but I so want to know if I've misspelled words on my blog. That's just how I roll. ;) I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks!

That is gorgeous! What an improvement!
You truly have come such a long way, it looks like you've moved mountains! Your bathroom is amazing, I only see ample improvement here.
found your site via Remodelaholic. Man that bathroom was blue. Did you do a lot of the work yourself???
